Real Estate to Soar Higher on Dwarka Expressway

Traffic has been a constant hassle in Delhi NCR region. With major movement of Multinationals and even residential in Gurgaon, flow of traffic between Delhi and Gurgaon has been on a steep increase.

In order to decongest traffic between the two cities Dwarka Expressway project was initiated. Congestion on NH8 has been more than 3 lakh vehicles per day, thus impacting the long range commuters as well.

The stretch of the project is 29 km long, of which about 10 km would be in Delhi and 19 km would fall under Gurgaon.

On March 8th, the foundation stone was laid by Union Ministers :

·         Nitin Gatkari

·         Arun Jaitley

·         Sushma Swaraj

The foundation stone was laid for the 5 km stretch that falls in Delhi for the Mahipalpur to Kherki Daula stretch of the project.

This step has brought about a respite to current and future Real Estate Investors on the Dwarka Expressway and around it. With this step, Real Estate prices are bound to soar higher in the near times.

Key Highlights of the Project:

·         Total distance of this Mahipalpur to Kherki Daula is approx 18 kms, of which approx 13 kms would fall under Gurgaon.

·         The project is estimated to cost approx Rs.9,000 Crores.

·         23 kms of the entire Expressway would be elevated with provision of crossing in or out at major intersections.

·         Safety is a huge focus on the entire e-way project, where factors such as stray cattle walking on the road would also be taken care of.

·         Proposed speed limit by NHAI for Dwarka e-way is 80 km/h. That would give the e-way it’s true meaning and purpose.
